US Navy Commander Submarine Force Pacific Support

In support of the US Navy Commander, Submarine Force Pacific, Honolulu, HI, SRC provides:
 

• Tactical Development and Evaluation Support (TAC D&E)

SRC supports development of experimental tactics and doctrine to correct tactical deficiencies identified by type and operational commanders.  Once candidate tactics are developed SRC plans and implements a comprehensive evaluation program to quantify their contribution to mission effectiveness.  The evaluation process progresses from analytical study through simulation (both by models and in tactical trainers) to final testing at sea.
